He completed his practical training at Raisio Hospital and the University Hospital in Turku, Finland, in the pathological and surgical departments.
Holder of a Master’s degree (MSc) from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Therapy, with a focus on Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
Additionally, he has:
- Worked in Finland from 2013 to 2017 in elderly care homes, home nursing, and facilities catering to individuals with special abilities.
- Worked at T.E.P. and sterilization at METROPOLITAN GENERAL from 2017 to 2019.
- Worked at Mediterraneo Hospital from 2019 to 2020 in the Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency Unit, overseeing the care of critically ill and cardiac surgery patients.
- Worked at Homed in 2020-2021 in home nursing and telemedicine.
- Worked at Biomedical during the pandemic in 2021-2022, focusing on Covid sampling.
Courses, certifications, and activities:
- Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Greek Society of Nursing Research and Education, promoting research and continuous education. Additionally, he is a trainer at the “White Cross” clinic.
- Awarded the title of Member of the Special Interest Group of Prostate Cancer of the European Association of Urological Nurses, being the first nurse in Greece to receive this title.
- Certified BLS trainer by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).
- Clinical trainer at the “White Cross” clinic, organizing seminars on various topics (venipuncture, theoretical lectures).
- Also serves as the program director of the scientific radio ICU RADIO, part of the Postgraduate Program “Intensive Care Units” at the Medical School of Athens.
